I wish I could.. I invested too much into getting Vista , I  can't go back now. I'll just keep swearing.

Vista has a BSOD? I've seen it many times on my XP box. I've had Vista Ultimate about a month after it came out and I didn't even know Vista had a BSOD. I thought it was only in 98 and XP.

really?  I have Vista and haven't really had any problems.  admittedlly, t doesn't always shut down right and goes to sleep mode, but that problem isn't that big.

And you know what, in a week or two you'll miss Vista like crazy... cos when something goes wrong on your PC, you'll have nothing to swear at.  I mean, you won't be able to swear at your beloved XP, now will yer!

So long as you're happy, Fuzzy (could never get a handle on deionyc... er that thar dinosaur name) and you've got a computer that functions as you need it to.  Personally, I like Vista and have had no real major issues with it, but that's me and each to their own.

I still have XP on my spare rig and enjoy getting on that from time to time, and it seems to play games better than Vista 32 bit (never tried the ones I have on Vista zx64), so I'll be sticking with XP for a while in that regard.

Never really had an issue with Vista since moving over to it wit this laptop. Ultimate home edition runs without any issues other than the odd crash here and there when explorer fails. But that doesnt happen enough to cause me worry.

For me i will be sticking to Vista for the foreseable future.

Even though I absolutely hate microsoft and any of there product, I had vista for a little of a year and so far I am completely satasified and it has only crashed once due to a restart on a windows update now that is very good statistics for a windows os.

i used Vista before, the way it works, i mean where everything is felt weird, but there were not any problems for me.  What were you people trying to make your computer do with vista installed????  if you have problems, why don't you get a book on vista, something like vista hacks or a vista the complete reference.  I am sure once you know its secrets, you can make it tick and sing and dance for you instead of the othet way around.

It's doesn't matter how many books you read you still can't get rid of that ugly start menu.

I haven't got any skins installed yet, so I loaded up Diamond. Looks better than Vista, and, woohoo, a start menu you can use!

I have had Vista Ultimate for about 18 months and in that time i think i had one crash that forced me to restart my computer. Vista works mcuh better than my experiance with Xp, which crashed like once a day.
