Since updating both WindowBlinds and installing MyColors (to get Ankh) some of my SysTray icons are missing. They are not hidden, just not showing. Even stting taskbar properties to 'always show' doesn't work. I can confirm in Task Manager that the programs are running. Things were fine before the update and nothing else on the pc has changed.

Things missing include Syncback and mstDefrag. Also WB, IconX and Sysmetrix.

Any suggestions before I start uninstalling stuff would be gratefully received.

Longshot:

Check your WBConfig "Fonts" tab and make sure "Allow the skin to decide on the fonts" is selected, not a specific font.  Ran into a similar problem with another MyColors theme, but it was "All or nothing" in terms of the systray icons displaying.

I gave up on this and restored my pc to an earlier version from back up. Icons are now back.

I have the same problem here, NOD32 and the volume control not showing up in Windows XP, but this started a long time ago. I gave up on trying to fix it a long time ago though, I just close and re-open the affected problems and they show up in the tray area as they should.  Does not really matter since I am going to reinstall opriginal software and get rid of this PC tomorrow anyway.

Things missing include ...... mstDefrag.

What version you running of mst Fuzzy?

Since last week, my version 2 has started dying after startup.  It'll startup and then about 5 min later get an 'x' on it is the tray. If I have it open, the window goes blank.  I've done 3 reinstalls and about 7 repairs. Monday I uninstalled, rebooted, cleaned the reg, rebooted and couldn't find my registration info until yesterday.  Gonna try reinstalling again before I contact their support...

V 2.0.2.4364

Works fine. It was working ok before the restore, just not showing in the tray.

Impulse decided to work again, so once I get some more of my progs installed, I'll reinstall mst and see what happens

There has always been a "conflict" between WindowBlinds and MyColors with regards to the system tray showing the WB icon.  Anytime I load MyColors, even if I don't apply a theme, it changes my settings in WB to show the WB icon in the systray.  I have to go into WB>settings and re-select that option.  Kind of bothersome.

Another thing is... I uninstalled MyColors and it took WB with it!!! WTF? I had to re-install WB but quit half way through and did the restore from back-up instead.

That needs fixing.
