mst have just released a Vista compatible version of their popular defrag program. mst Defrag works in the background, defragging your hard-drives while they are not in use. In all the time I've used it I've never had to defrag a drive - and I have 1.5Tbs of HDs...

Is it any better than Diskeeper?

I found Diskeeper to be a ressource hog and got annoyed with it accessing my HD's constantly/non-stop. Would be glad to have an alternative though..

mst Defrag is currently using 3356k memory (I can live with that out of 2Gb ) and it only accesses drives when they aren't in use. I wouldn't notice it was there if it weren't for the occasional flicker of hard drive light activity.

I'might try the trial first, not sure whether it will work on 64bit.

Fingers crossed...
