I like to keep all my shortcuts in a folder. I call the folder FRQ (frequently used) and have it set as a toolbar on the taskbar. I create this by right clicking the taskbar, selecting toolbars > new toolbar and then browsing to my FRQ folder. The taskbar then looks like this:

The only problem is with some skins the font is too big and gets cut off, or the arrows are the wrong colour etc. This can easily be changed in SkinStudio.

Open SkinStudio and select Tools > WindowBlinds > Open Current Skin. In the left pane navigate to Taskbar > Taskbar Gripper > Horizontal, as shown below

Then in the right pane we can assign a font and change the font colour:

Repeat the same for the vertical image.

For the arrows, in the left pane of SkinStudio navigate to TaskBar > QuickLaunch Button > Horizontal:-

Then in the right pane you can change the colour of the arrows by changing the font colour shown below:

Again you need to repeat this for the vertical image.

When you are done, click the apply button in SkinStudio:-

When it asks if you want to save changes click 'yes', the skin should now apply with all the changes you have made.

Nice tute, Fuzzy!

This is probably something I can handle.

Thank You Fuzzy !~! This very question was asked in a recent post and I have had the same issue. I do not wish to make a blind but I know there are things that can be changed via SkinStudio but trying to find it through a Full tut is daunting. Another example of a mini tut that would be helpful is how to change the color of a greyscale skin like Aura that is included with WB 5.5 In all the years that I have had Object Desktop I have not been able to take advantage of SkinStudio or Icon Developer. And with so many new people now these mini tuts will come in handy.
